    umm

2004 GTP rod: i got mine from 3800 for 240 for all 6, they are forged.

i know AMM is working w/Manly for forged rods not sure on price but buy looking at the 3.4 rods there not cheap (500-800 for a set)

Diamond coated pistons are $879, that include pins and rings

go with Clevite 77, $69 for main bearings and $3 each for rod (need 6)

SSM has a lower end package for us now for 1050 (i think) all forged

i think when the crank is blanced to 50%, from my understanding that means that each side of the motor is balaced out perfect, so the rod/piston crank on the drive side bank is the same or vary vary close to the pass bank. this lets you rev higher and make the motor more stable

The kit he sales is for the ford 3.8's. He says he can make a kit for gm 3.8's for around the same price.

"That is for fords only, but, we can can put a kit together using race-prepped stock rods and custom Wiseco forged pistons for the same price. The stock GM3800 rod is pretty stout, it just needs beam polishing, shot peening, and some good ARP rod bolts, and its already uses a bushed pin, so the pistons would be setup for bushed installation with spiro-lox. We can set the compression ratio with the piston from 8.5 to 10.5: depending on your application."
