alright, ive found a LS1 for my 99 camaro for a good price so i want to swap it into my car...but ive heard it can suck because of all the new wiring and whatnot...i know its most likely possible to swap in a 350, but is it affordable, any feedback would help here thanks

It would be much cheaper to just buy a camaro with an LS1 in it already

You gotta report it to the insurance company anyway if you want coverage.

If your car is pretty stock or has high resale value, just sell it and buy a LS1.

If your car is very modified and has lower resale value due to modifications or any other issues... the swap may be a more cost effective solution.

Magnus I just wanna say that ur writeup is nice and the swap u did looks great and has pretty much pulled me back into considering this project. I love working on the car no matter what it is or how hard it is, and this looks like it would be a great project. Def bookmarking ur write up
