  • GOOD CAM?

    Is this a good Cam? I want a cam but dont know what to get and dont know what other stuff i need
    Green 97 Camaro RS 30th Ann.<br />3800 II<p><b>MODS</b><br />BORLA rear exhaust section, RKSport Headers, Hi-Flow Catylitic Converter, SLP CAI, Sylvania Silver Star Headlights, Eibach Pro Springs, Bilstein Shocks/Struts, 1LE Front/Rear 32/21mm Sway Bars w/Poly Bushings and Poly endlinks<p>And a bad @SS MTX System

    I don't like either one of those. The first one is plain horrid, and the second one is too large, with too much lift, and it'll lope like hell but won't make more power than a smaller grind on the other side of optimal... unless you plan to have an 8000RPM redline of course :D

      Hey dominic , would this be a pretty wild cam for the 3.4?

      212/218 itake/exhaust duration 112 LSA 500/500 Lift with 1.6 gold series roller rocker arms

        I'd skip the rocker arms, the duration sounds nice though, you might need to do some playing around with the LS and IC to get the desired response.

        Where did you get the .500" lobes? Are you getting these from comp's available lobes or just making them up?

          The 500/500 is the lift I thought? Tiago told me to stick with a low 500 lift. Oh and why should I skip the rocker arms ? Wouldnt that make more power?
          I want a cam that is really powerful throughout all the RPMS and is really chopy.
