Will this Cam be pretty good for a stock 3.4 engine? I am getting Dynomax Cat-back in like a week then off to do this cam ordeal im having. :(

I want a nice choppy/loping idle, that is not too harsh on my engine, for i have stock headers, valves, etc.

Can you please help me. thx

Should be decent on your stock engine. There's not too much lift on it and it's actually a pretty smallish cam all around. Should give you a bit more lope in your idle as well. If you were having your heads worked I'd suggest a bigger one but with stock heads it shouldn't be bad. As a favor to the 3.4L community would it be possible for you to do a before and after dyno of this cam? We need more definite numbers regarding gains with just cams as well as full engine packages. Another thing I'd suggest is going to www.fbodytrader.com and registering and posting in the Website Suggestions portion of the site in the 3.4L registry thread and I'll add you to the 3.4L Tech Section. There you can ask alot of 3.4L questions and get answers from some of the guys who know best.

sure, id like to see the improve on horse, but before i install a cam, i am putting in a cat-back.

ill see how much money i can scrape together to see if i can get a dyno of before and after with a simple cam. i will start a new post in maybe a month on before and after of a cam and the dyno.

i will get my exhaust in 1-2 weeks.

You will not see a whole lot of gain from that CAM unless you add the rockers, springs and head work.

I ran that one for a and with all teh rest it was not that much of a CAM IMHO.

thats the cam the 3.4 should have in it stock imo,as the stock cam was created in 1979 and isn't worth a flip
