Valve Size.

Is there a way we can change the size of our valves? And also what are the stock size valves on our heads?

i wouldnt run a larger valve unless you are planning major hp upgrades. with a larger valve it is just going too get shrouded up by the combustion chamber and might even flow a little less. i say stick with the stock valves and have them undercut.

There is more than 1 V6 in our cars.

bigger valves dont make the heads flow less, ive done it on my own heads and the flow increased, needless to say they arent done so i cant tell you exactly how much gain there is...1.900 valves are ordered and when i get the heads done ill post the flow numbers...

yep, otherwise i wouldnt have gone that big because i'd figure it would cause problems, but since i know they work im puttin them in my heads, hopefully i can gain about 70-75 horsepower after tuning with this setup...technically i should run 13.8's-13.9's at my local track and no telling how quick at sea level....

Sorry about that. I have a 1997 Camaro with SSM heads, what all would need to be done to accomodate the Intense Racing 1.9's? New seats, guides...?

all u need is a valve job and blend the bowl, the 1.900 will open the bowl way up over the stock 1.800...

If you run 1.9's you have to use a lead additive. Otherwise you will have problems, due to the loss of the hardened valve seat.

thats only on the exhaust side Timbo, when Intense put the 1.60's in the exhaust it required them cutting all the induction hardened part of the seat, and it now says on their site that w/more R&D they have gotten a 1.57 exhaust valve to flow the same and you no longer need to run the lead additive...
