r u sure its not an LS1... thats a nice cam how much did it cost?
\"Well, we don\'t care how bad-*** some dude\'s N/A Honda S2000 motor is; if you go up against 900+ pushrod ponies and 750 pounds of earth-shaking torque with a wrong-wheel-drive econobox, you\'re gonna get a fast and furious old-school ***-whipping.\"
aside from sound, what sort of gains has the cam given you? I was thinking about the same one, but thought it might be a little extreme and throw too many things out of wack that cant be easily tuned since I have a 97 same as yours. what side affects have you seen? SES light? also, did you have to replace the valve springs or did you just opt to do that?

Sounds damn good. Something tells me that i wont take a year of daily driving for your lumps to start getting on your nerves. Has that cam killed your bottom end?

The top end gain is enormous, I find myself launching the car, finding traction and then losing it again in the top end of each gear. This is is with 3.23s in the rear end. Imagine the 3.73s...
Side affects are:
1)Rough idle (I like it, but others don't)
2)People rolling down their windows to listen to the badass lope.
SES Came on once about a month ago for multiple misfires (it was flashing) while I was at a stoplight. I reset it and it hasn't come back since.
I opted for the LS1 springs because me stock stuff had 70K on it. Better safe than sorry. It was a lot of work to install, don't want to do it twice.

I love the lope. It is what a car should run like. Couple that with the poly trans mount, and it feels awesome. Poly motor mounts next.
The bottom end seems to have gained also, keep in mind it is a 4X4 cam, so it makes good torque. If say I am cruising at 1500-2000 rpm, and I stab the gas, it seems to pickup better than it used to.
I have kept my mouth shut about this cam for a long time. Put it this way, of the fastest NA timeslips we have Magnus, Seppo, and Zach. Magnus and Seppo have run slightly faster than Zach but they both had knock issues. Zach put in his cam, stock valvetrain, revved it to 6700 and never had a major problem. That is why I opted for Zach's cam. He was a very helpful guy in picking the cam, and I think Magnus helped him pick it. He was here for a long time, but nobody really decided to use that cam anymore. Shame... :D
