Alright so I have a 96 firebird. I went ahead and bought another 3.8l v6 with low miles on it. Im in the process of tearing it apart and building it from the bottom up with forged pistons/rods, port and polish heads/intake/throttle body, bigger cam, etc..and then a supercharger. Now I see they came out with the stroker kit for our cars, but it says they dont recommend adding boost or nos. I would like to eventually be in the 12s. I need help finding out which would be the best way to make this engine run as good as possible. Stroke it or build it to low compression for the supercharger?

the weakness of the stroker kit seems to lie in the fact that they lighten the crank, in yurn making it even more of the weakest part of our engines.....
build it up.- \"So you have something to look at when you\'re talking to \'em\" - <br /> <a href=\"http://www.cardomain.com/member_pages/view_page.pl?page_id=296916\" target=\"_blank\">http://www.cardomain.com/member_pages/view_page.pl?page_id=296916</a>

rofl.. no.. dont use the stoker kit with FI.. its not a new crank.. but and offset old one.. making it weeker then the sotck one..
go to zoomers site and take a look at the crank the broke.. it took alot of boost.. but.. not that much and if you think about the long run.. vs' a few passes it wont hold for verry long at all..
so.. just get forged internals..
