    I had a professional machine shop do my motor work, except for the ssm heads/intakes. I have chromeoly pushrods which i believe are not stock length because of the .020 milling on the heads. will these pushrods give me motor problems since they are not stock length? When installing pushrods you just drop them in, right? There isnt any sort of adjusting of the pushrods is there? I dont believe there is but just wanna make sure, thanks for any help.
    Longtubes, true duals, ram air, caspers tps tec, ls1 26lb injectors, supersix powerpack, heads milled .020, comp cam .507 220/224 114 ls, forged internals and chromeoly pushrods, bored .030 over, tb spacer, tranny built with stiffer springs and kevlar bands, bigger servo, transgo stage 3 shift kit, edge 3600 stall, 1 pc aluminum ds, 3.73 superior gears, lsd rear ,custom pcm tuning, walbro 255 in tank,

    nahh.. dont use those.. get some stock ones. there is no pressing need to upgrade the pushrods in our cars.. if they break/bend they break/bend.. you want them too, becuase they are cheep and easy to replace.. trust me you dont want to be the guy that bends up his nice new valves ($$)..

    anyway, they slide right out after you remove the rocker arm that is on top of it..

      Where did you get the push rods?

      Are they supposed to be stock length and you are worried about the .020 milling on the heads?


      Take them to your machine shop, they should be able to tell you.
