"If you have a spacer or something that doesn't have that cutout, then that is your problem. You can either cut that hole out"
does your tb spacer have that cut out for the pcv valve? do you have any pics of your spacer? if someone had a spacer that didnt have that cu out for the pcv valve, how would a zzperformance valve cover breather take the problem away? are you sure the breather will work on a 96 3.8 camaro? thanks
Longtubes, true duals, ram air, caspers tps tec, ls1 26lb injectors, supersix powerpack, heads milled .020, comp cam .507 220/224 114 ls, forged internals and chromeoly pushrods, bored .030 over, tb spacer, tranny built with stiffer springs and kevlar bands, bigger servo, transgo stage 3 shift kit, edge 3600 stall, 1 pc aluminum ds, 3.73 superior gears, lsd rear ,custom pcm tuning, walbro 255 in tank,
Since I am not sure what you are trying to find out, I'll just guess.
1. The spacer I made, had the hole for the PCV and didn't require a breather.
2. How do I know all this? Well I was a beta tester for the LS1 TB. I had an install issue which the adapter plate didn't have that channel, and they forgot to tell me about it. So my engine built up all kinds of pressure/vacuum in the crankcase and made a nasty shrieking sound(no damage though).
3. I started to think about it and took the oil cap off and put my hand over it, that thing generates some crazy suction!
4. I went to autozone, bought a valve cover breather from the rice section(I guess they are good for something). It fits ok, but it is a push in, not screw type. I think ZZP sells the type that screws in and fits better.
SLVRCMERO, if you remember from like 6 months ago, I suggested you not use JBWELD. I still have that spacer that you were going to send the MO for after your friend messed yours up. I was cleaning out my garage and found it a couple of weeks ago.
Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
