you'll need the vette computer/wiring harness...keep in mind that motor will probably run $20k+ through gm once its released to the public.

granted i didnt expect them to be the same price but a 10 to 15 thousand dollar difference in one year is a little unbelieable, even for GM

The LS7 is a whole lot more motor then the ls6. Its a 500 HP 427ci small block that is not even released to public yet. So its not likley you will find one in a salvage yard for some time. it will be a very expensive motor when its released to the public.
yeah.. that motor will be very expensive at first since you can't buy it any where else but from the factory new..
also keep in mind that it is a drive by wire engine.. that in itself will be a bit of a trick to convert over..
personally, im just gonna do an ls1 and build it for my other camaro.. lot cheaper and the ls1 has a lot of aftermarket support. but hey, if ya do it, good luck man. will be a sweet swap...

i have to agree with you and i found the price it was 7400 with a friends discount. no harness computer or accesories. so im goin back to the building an ls1 and swapping. there was an issue with the starter as well as the drive by wire. but thanks for you guys info and help. wish me luck
