  • 1995 1/2 PCM - OBD I or OBD II?

Like the subject says. Is the first version of the 1995 1/2 PCM OBD I or II? Any ideas?

I'm trying to figgure out if it would be easier to get BINs on and off if it were OBD I.

thats a good question... not sure if it helps any but all 95 3.4Ls had a OBDII connector, but OBDI computers... maybe the reason for doing this was becase the 95.5s had OBDII computers?

Doubt I was much help but hey, it was a free post for me.

I might have the same thing w/my 95 Blazer, and it has the "new fangled" style pcm too.

The 3.8L's in 95 had an OBDII computer/connector. The 3.4L's in 95 had an OBDI computer w/ OBDII connector.

The VECI label on the top of your fan shroud will tell you exactly what it is. Read the fine print!

My '95 3.4L is OBDI but it does have the 16 pin OBDII connector.
