  • Rerouting the serpentine belt, need some help!

    I need to know if there is anything bad about running the belt's ribbed side over one of the pulleys that is not ribbed (the one above the compressor pulley) when I delete the A/C from the car. It would make it all easier or else I will have to switch to the 61.5" belt and try and muscle it on there.

    I think I run the 61.5" no problem. That, or the 62", one of them fit perfectly.

      why delete the A/C? its jus a free wheeling pully unless the ac clutch is engauged(ac turned on.
