our engines are externally balanced, so it would involve shaving/lightening of the existing flywheel. Basically, it's a lot of trouble. Instead, get a aluminum or carbon fiber driveshaft to reduce drivetrain weight.

Duece Bigg's I think has a lightene'd flywheel. I may be mistaken but Im pretty sure its him. Maybe he could shine some light on this for you. But yea I think Dominic is right on the money.
I got the flywheel lightened then i sold it before putting it on because I thought i was going with an LS1 swap (still have a T56 sitting in my garage). i have an extra flywheel. maybe i'll try it again and see what the results are but i'm afraid to touch my tranny cause the next time i do i'll have to rebuild it and stick a new clutch in it.
