I've got a friend down in houston who is looking to sell me his GM Performance Parts Cam & Lifter (Made by Crane Cams) kit as well as his double roller timing chain for my 3.4 V6 for $250. How big of a pain in the *** is the change of the cam and the timing chain for this motor? What all is involved in the change? And about how much does a professional tuning cost once I get this all in there? Also, hows that price look to you guys?

How much experience have you had with tearing apart and rebuilding engines?? Not that you have to tear the entire thing down, but it's not something for those who aren't mechanically inclined. I'm not sure what the specs are on that cam, you might want to list them. The price seems ok and i'm not sure what a different timing chain will do for you.---<br />-\'95 3.4L M5 Camaro
