Signs that I am running rich?

First a little background info: Ok, its been about 3 months since the heads, headers, and rockers went in my car. At first I had horrible gas milage, but then the computer got it figured out so I thought all was good.

Well, I've noticed that I have a lot more black carbon in the exhaust tips since the mods and I don't think the milage is quite back to were it was before (I know it wont get clear back, but I thought I might be a little better). The exhaust also has a little more stench to it.

The car is making excellent power now, but I'm beginning to wonder if it could be made better? Are these signs that I could be running rich now? What would be some solutions for this?

A bluish color to your exhaust fumes. (Oil burning in your combustion).

negative, I'm not burning any oil.

By rich I mean fuel rich, not oil.
