    I'm just curious, I have the chance to get a 350 SBC from a 75 Camaro and was wondering what all needs to be done to put it in my 4th gen. I'd keep it carborated and ditch all the computer BS, so what exactly would I need to do.

    I have a few questions. Will the tranny bolt up? Will the T-5 even be able to handle the torque of a v8? I have the 3speed auto tranny that will bolt up without any modification? Are the motor mounts in the same place? Would their be any firewall issues with the carberator?

    Probably none of that at all.

    Snag a BMR K-Member with SBC mounts. And a custom (BMR?) tranny crossmember. Ditch everything computer wise, rewire for a complete autometer dash.

    You'd lose computerized control of a fair amount of things. I'd imagine at least ...
