  • z28 injectors on a 3.4?

I think I saw this on tiago's web site... I think...

using Z28 injectors on a v6 (3.4) camaro. they'll fit? What's the PSI for those injectors? This sounds really interesting and realatively cheap-- I'ld like to hear what sorta difference this would make.

Ummm unless you're flowing alot more air through the engine (i.e. heads/cam or forced induction) you won't need them and they won't do anything. Not worth the money on a relatively stock engine.

yea you wont need them unless you have lots of mods. But they do work, plug and play.

well, i plan to get new heads and tiago was saying to get ones from a 3rd gen and those proved to be a nice improvement. Also, a turbo is in the picture later if I ever decide between it and an engine swap.

            93-97 - 24#
            98 - 26#
            99-01 - 28#
            02 - 28.8#

i pretty sure those are right(please correct if wrong) and i think that the lt1 24# are a good improvement, if you have a cam and/or head work done... and yes plug and play but you need some piece of crap plastic tool(if you can call it that) to take the fuel lines off(blig back me up on this one)... i plan on doing the 24# injectors when i do my intakes, heads, cam...

Wait, you put 2.8 heads on your 3.4??? Or you're planning on doing it?? I would think that would be a bad idea. Plus don't the 3.4's have almost the same heads as the 2.8 as is, thus the reason for the crappy top end??
