the material they are made of isnt the point, the heads flow better due to a much better design

      workin on it ;)

my last run sucked sorta.. 1/2 and 1/2
i ran with the 3100 parts (from the 1996 gagt)

i got a 16.0 @ 84 mph. -- with a 2.55 60' and a R/T of like .890 (spun) but -- i managed to keep up with (the whole way, with the CRAPPIER parts) a 99 3.8L Auto Camaro. w/K&N FIPK - 3" Flowmaster Delta 40 series catback, 8mm wires, plugs, and a ported TB. nose to nose the whole way -- until i got outta my skull and accidentally shifted from 3-4 @ 3000 rpms (i usually shift on the track @ 5k)

that took my time from a nice 15.5 (he got that) to a crappy 16.0 :-/ all cause i shifted wrong. now i have the 3400 parts on there, and a nice MAC Torque arm to help me launch better, and a SPEC Stage 3 Clutch (hehe..im gearin up for the track can you tell?) + i have no shocks due to them being broken (leak) -- so im all set for drag racing..altho my cornering kinda sucks rite now :-p

      anyway...

they are around 20 or so pounds less for the pair, in their stock form they flow better than a fully ported iron head
