competely redoing the ignition probably won't net you any noticeable horsepower, but can't hurt to have less resistance.

Don't wast the money on the iridium plugs!

The dis4 allows you to play with timing I believe, which is an advantage to retard for power adder, or advance to pick up some more power N/A

ud notice a smoother idle, better gas mileage, and possibly slightly better acceleration, but a new ignition system is almost mandatory if u plan on heavily modify you car

not to try to discourage u but a twin turbo set up requires twice the piping, twice the engineering, twice the space, and twice the work as it would take to fab up a single turbo setup. also if u used say a t61 or t66 you would have virtually the same gains as a twin t4 setup

oh, let the lad go and make his own mistakes.... He'll realize the error of his ways when he spends his first weekend in the garage covered in metal shavings staring at one half complete turbo flange clamped in a vice. Take it from me pal. Over the course of 6 months I did it all. I swapped a 3.8 m5 into my 94 3.4 a4...yes motor and trans swap, then just for "fun" swapped the firebird interior in. Oh yeah, then I decided a nice single self-made t3/t4 setup would be a cool addition. By the time I was finally done, I didn't even have the urge to drive and tune the car. Even with everyone looking at you like you were the coolest because your camaro was turbo, it didn't make up for all the nights in my basement machining flanges and welding pipes. I say build up your bottom-end with nicely forged internals, and throw a heavy shot of nitrous in. Those are my personal feelings. If you want, I wrote a paper on the whole project and I'd be glad to send it to you....IM me, ataris1618....later dude.

oh yeah, and the only positives of an ignition are gas mileage, idle and a rev. limiter.... :)

I never said I didn't think you could do it. NEVER. I have no doubt in my mind that 90% of the people on this board could do it alone or with the proper help. Its just a matter of being worth the time and money. The worst part is the headaches that follow after any custom project. There are just little things that will agrivate the hell out of you. Good luck and if you need any advice you know where to find me.
