• supersix powerpack or supercharger?

Well i have decided to mod the v6 out. I either want the supersix powerpack or a supercharger. I really wanted a turbo but i here theres not any good ones out right now. So which one would be the best bang for the buck? and if i get a supercharger or turbo will i have to make engine upgrades with them?

no good turbos out? check out the force fed fabrications turbo kit. capable of 15 lbs. of boost, up to 400 HP at the crank. i would put my money on the turbo, it's cheaper, and more powerful.

Yeah dude checkout that FFF turbo, theres videos on here with V6 camaros running their turbo. And if you plan on running over 9-10 lbs of boost, I would suggest getting a rebuild with forged internals and some headwork.

you could go with the powerpack and the FFF turbo for the same price as a supercharger pretty much.

The FFF turbo is a lot cheaper than a Powerdyne supercharger, and if you were to get the powerpack with the turbo, your car would be crazy fast!

you should prolly wait about the turbo until all of the 1st gp buyers get their stuff.

personally i want to take my car as far as possible N/A. i say powerpack, although a friend of mine who got their heads said they were all ****ed up. then again he got them like 4th hand, but i think that abbott racing heads perform the best. u'll have to ask wickedv6 i think is his username. i think his dad owns the shop, and he's putting down 261 rwhp with a mild cam and their heads. it seems theres a lot of power to be had in our heads. i think free flowing heads and a decent cam should make you real happy

How much does the FFF turbo kit cost? Also how much boost can a stock motor take? I will have a cam and heads but no forged internals or anything.

really depends on you cam too, i would stay you could do 12 PSI tuned for it on the stock bottom end

do you have a NA cam TURBO cam or SC cam???? they are all vary different and to make best power you have to match them with what your doing

I think the FFF turbo is like 2900 bucks. Correct me if I am wrong Tiago. Many people believe that 10psi is plenty of boost on a stock motor. With some slight work to the engine though I don't see 12psi being a problem at all.

not sure exactly what work they do on V6 heads over there at abbott but at most automotive machine shops a 3 angle job won't cost more than $100 per head.

There's SO much more to do to these heads than a valve job. Bigger valves is part of what makes a ton of power, good porting around the seats, opening up that tiny exhaust port, etc.
