• AMMPerformance Needs 3.8 Rods to Produce Forged Ones for Us!!!!

I just checked ammperformance's site and it says Manley is looking for a set of 3.8 rods so they can produce some forged aluminum ones for us! The donor will get a set of the forged rods at a "greatly reduced" price, somebody come on and help us out here!

I'm thinking if anyone wants to drive to Ohio and yank this block I have in my garage apart, I'll donate my extra rods to the cause, and get me a new set cheap

I don't think we need to worry about the l67 rods as much, they are already strong enough if you shot peen them, anyways thanx for the replies, if they go into production I will definately buy a set!

I'll yank out a set of L36's if needed, we have an engine sitting here with a supposed spun bearing.

The reason i say they need a l67 rod is cause the pistons from intense racing need l67 rods i really want some forged aluminum rods in order to rev up really quick for my turbo motor

maybe u guys should get them both types of rods, and let them see if they could possibly make a universal set of them for both engines. I wonder if they'd be able to mess w/ rod length in the future.

Like I said, I'll yank a set, or 1 out, how ever many are needed. Tell me how many, and where to send them.
