This is where I need to be asking my Q's, "ADVANCED Tech"

    RE: Auto-Xray(diagnostic scan tool)

I use this device to extract any SES codes from the ALDL port. It also displays real-time data. Which leads me to ask a few Q's bout some of the readings i'm getting.
    1)Injector QDM
    -What does QDM mean?
    -(Injector QDM)It reads...Low
    2)A/C WOT Logic
    -It reads "False"
    -What does that mean?
Thats just a few of the questions I had for anyone that might be familiar with this diagnostic system?

    ok so....

    with the Auto X-Ray.
    the A/C WOT Logic --

When you floor the car (wide open throttle or WOT) the PCM says "oh they want power" and disengages the A/C Clutch. meaning that your A/C turns off (no more of that "i lost the race cause my a/c was on" stuff)

if the WOT Logic is true, it means that the PCM is turning off the A/C for you so that you can get full power.

    as for the Injector QDM..
QDM Stands for Quad Driver Module:
an integrated circuit used to turn certain components on and off -- A quad driver has four separate out puts (switches) and can turn on and off up to four circuits and or components independently such as four fuel injectors.

High = Fault; Low = OK (fault = bad). So in a nutshell, by saying the QDM is Low - that means its sending proper voltage to the Injectors and is in good working order.

      thanks,
so with my WOT a/c logic being "false", it's indicating there's a problem. -k- i'll run the tests with the A/C clutch...or the other relay/circuits.
      thanks again

It could be reading false because you were not at WOT when it was scanned. Watch the scanner at WOT and see if this value changes.

still "false" @ WOT. no changes
I even held it WO a few extra seconds longer to see if readings changed, but no change.

ok but were you "scanning" or monitoring?

if you monitor data you hit the "data" key, then "operational data". then once you see the "engine runtime" screen you hit the "Mon" key and it'll switch to realtime monitoring. make sure your engine is running before you do this!!

if you are monitoring the data.. AND YOUR AC IS ON and you are at wot, and it still doesnt say that the WOT Logic is true. then you might have something wrong...
