Im planning on buying an intake manifold from a bone yard. My question is how do you port all the way inside the manifold? You can't reach all the way in, or can you? If anyone has done this how much power will i be looking at gaining? Thanks

very minimal on power gains. probly not worth your time. more of something to do if your bored.

You can port the all the way up you just need a dremel and the right attachments.

It is VERY TIME CONSUMING. I ported both my upper and lower and it took for ever. the lower is much easier to port then the upper.

Where is the main restriction in a 3.4 From what i'm reading it is in the cam. I figure if i do the intake, A CAI, headers and a muffler i'll be running with a 3.8?

I have a set of air grinding tools as well. I got my from standard abrasives. Check out their site, and you can buy the kit they make from Summit for cheap for about 1/2 the MSRP. http://www.sa-motorsports.com/products.shtm
