• Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator

I was wanting to know if something like this:
http://www.fasttoys.net/9398fbodyframes.html
would work on my car?
For that link you have to click "Air/Fuel" at the top left then scroll down almost all the way to the bottom.

Would it work even though it is for an LT1 on my 1995 3.4L?
If it won't work, does anybody know where I can find one?
Thnx

errrmm.. you will gain little to nothing.. if not run slower.. in an NA car.. the only reason for an FPR is for a blower, nitrous, or cam appilcation that demands more fuel.. they are pretty uesless otherwise.. unless you are running lean for some reason.. but thats probably related to some other problem.. and not the fuel pressure..

a 305 FPR should work fine with the 3.4L ;)

My dad and I ghetto oakey mine
My fuel pressure was at 36 cold idle so we bumped it up to about 39-40 cold WOT is about 48-49 now too hehe
It does run a little better, but not worth the $100 for an adjustable one. All you gotta do is put a washer in there.

Most noticeable for me was how much smoother it idles now... I like it. Pulls 2nd gear a little better as well, but like I said, not really worth the money. Might be worth it to convert mine to an adjustable one (my dad knows how to do it for free ) and see if a little more fuel will help, or maybe 1 lb less, since its pretty high right now.

The Holley is the nicest of the ones available for the 3.4L V6. Ben, yours is on the way...I E-mailed tracking info.

30-35 at idle?
Why would yours be lower than mine?

FYI- most people don't know that the 3800 is equipped with an AFPR from the factory. I adjust mine all the time with a torx bit.

My bbk is about 38 at idle and thats the lowest it can go. I want something that can go around 30-35 at idle..
