    Curious, is HP Turner legal in Calif.?

    I've been debating about this or MAFT. I would love to have HP Turner but seeing how hard it is to pass emission here in Calif.

    I wonder if changing the computer a bit would come up in the diagnostics. When they hook up the OBII to their computer during smog.

    they still wont now if the pcm is stock or not.

      It would get you through inspection because you can reflash your pcm with the stock info and remove all evidence of the hp tuner, when you get through, re flash the pcm again with your perf. tune.

        I passed VA emmisions fine with my MAFT. I just leaned it out for a few minutes while I was getting the test done.

          I think it would be ok...

          I don't think they are going to program your car to where its flooding the thing and you have raw fuel coming out the exhaust...

          I think my car passed smog with my fastchip... I am pretty sure I've smogged with that installed.
