  • New Motor Now Big Problems

Well car idels funny it likes to have a choppy idel like it has a aftermarket cam. Then it smooths out and i drive it at normal mph it seems ok but when i let out of the gas it idels up about 500 rpms. To like 1500 rpms and will not drop till like 5 sec after i come to a complete stop. Now when i go WOT it feels like a misfire like i have a soft revlimiter pop pop pop sounding then when i was crusing back toward my house going like 25 mph and heard two bamn shotgun like explosions coming out of the exshuast and i dont even have exshuast it is dumping out of the headers right now. Autotap doesnt say there is any misfires or ses lights at all so i am lost and tired of this car,.

like Ive already said, it must be ignition related and you might have a vaccum leak, now to trouble shoot that....

I have tried everything i know I checked the coil packs and the wireing harness in the back of the coil pack. It was alittle lose like the screw was so i will tighten that tommarow but wires were fine and plugs are brand new. NGK TR55's I cant find a vac leak anywhere

jsut go out, start the car, and lightly spray something flammable around the intake gaskets. or anywhere else a leak could be suspected of coming from. i jsut use a little propane or starter fluid. you will hear the engine start to idle higher if you spray o nthe leak
                        boost, you got it???

Maybe its because you are running it without an exhaust? That explains the popping sound since theres no back pressure.
