A L67 is a L36 with an Eaton SC. But a FWD L36 is not the same as a RWD L36. AC and PS pump are in different places, as are the coils and coolant inlet. As for the L67 the SC inlet will be stuffed into the firewall, unless you replace the entire factory SC with a something else, like a custom Magnuson.

Unless you have money to burn, and/or really want to do this - it's not worth it.

you could take everything off the L67 but leave the short block then put everything from your l36 on it then you would have a low compression factory forged pistons and a little better rods if you want a mild boost motor 15 or so psi

the l36 & l67 blocks are the same though, aren't they? ie, the l67 will bolt up to my current engine mounts & bellhousing?

of course the engine wiring harness & pcm would have to be changed....can i use the l67 computer on my camaro? if not, what would have to be changed & who could do it for me? (i've got the t-5)thanks!

Just to let you know the L67 stock pistons are not forged they are just lower compression the rods are alittle bit stronger
