there ar 3.8's i nthe 9's but i dont think the 3.4 will hold up do to the way the crank mounts
800 Hp at the crank is possible...... but all those are turbo car or dual charged car running 30 psi with 8.0 Comperetion....... a 300 HP NA car will run 11-12:1 to hit those numbers...
so figure out what way your going before you start biulding the motorwww.turbov6camaro.com

Why would you build a N/A motor then put a power adder on it.. your better off building a power adder motor.. for example I built a Nitrous motor.. Had forged rods and pistons, ported and polished heads and intakes with a nitrous cam.. on motor the car dynoed 225rwhp and 225rwtq untuned.. Thats right around 260 flywheel hp..Jeff ..

To get your car to that power with nitrous it will run you around 1000.00.. Nitous kit 650.00, headers 250.00, Walboro 255lb pump 110.00.. I used stock tuning on my motors when I sprayed them and that was from a 50 shot up to a 125 shot.. A 90 wet shot is your best bet.. My car with exhaust and lid with the 90 shot put down 292rwhp and 393rwtq.. Dont rule out nitrous.. It is the easiest and cheapest way..Jeff ..

In order to get 350HP out of your motor you will need to do the following: rev the **** out of it.
You will need a forged crank, forged rods, forged pistons, ultra light weight valvetrain components with very still valve springs. Very good quality valves, retainers and locks.
You will need to run a lot of compression, 13.5:1 or so on race gas.
A huge cam, both lift and duration with a huge amount of overlap and a late intake valve closing time. Heads that flow a ton.
All that revved to 9000 RPM or so will net you more than 350HP. Won't be a street car by any means though.1997 Chevrolet Camaro v6 - 13.8@104MPH

before you start talking about building an 800 to 1000 HP 3.4 you should do some reasearch into CPU tunning cause there isn't any and there won't ever be any. The only way to get decient power out of a 3.4 is with a turbo and even then you can only push it so far before you have to have tunning and again its not out there, if you want to major hp out of a V6 get a 3.8 that CAN be tuned with HP tunners. I'm not trying to be a dick but I had the same abintions before I realized that it can't be done with a ****LOAD of money, and if you have that kind of cash then just sell it for a built LS1 car.<a href=\"http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/594989\" target=\"_blank\">http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/594989</a>
