4.3 heads swap on a 3.8 ?

I had a buddy of mine tell me that you can swap 4.3 heads onto a 3.8 engine. Is this true and has anyone heard of it done ?

The 4.3 is basically a short small block chevrolet, the 3.8 is a buick. If it was possible I'd already have it done with some of the vortec 4.3 heads. They flow about 30-40 more than the 3.8's ported.
