Nice setup, top end looks like it won't need much more. What else do you plan on doing to the engine? You plan on FI or NO2?

Yeah FI eventually but for now Nitrous Everything should hold up for alot of nitrous. engine should spin about 7500 rpm so ill prolly get the hp tuners stuff. thats not all my mods i do have others on my site. the pistons and rods will hold up really well so i am not gonna replace those with lighter or stonger ones i cant think of anything else i need besides its already done just that darn spring

7500 on stock rods? Good luck I guess. You should run a good time if it holds up. Maybe 12s.

stock rods arent really that bad it is is the bearings and what not that hold evrything together the stock rods shopuldnt stretch at that many rpms

How much did all those parts cost you? Did you assemble it all yourself? I got a block, heads, intakes, and TB lying around ready to make my own rebuild.

i put everything together but the bottom end i had all the balance hone and line vboring and stuff done for $750 then the parts were about $1700 for everything i did my own heads and manifold but took the heads for a bronze guide liner and 3 angle job so total was prolly around $3000

I wouldn't worry about the rods stretching, I would worry about them breaking. Depending on what shot of nitrous you plan on doing and how much boost you plan on running in conjunction with that, those rods may not hold at 7500 rpm. ;)

I totally agree about nitrous or FI at 7500 rpm i was talking about n/a 7500 rev which i beleive it can handle altough i have to dyno to see where my power is it all depends where i rev too
