97 pcm into 96

    97 pcm into 96

    I have a 96 m5 camaro and I put(what I thought was a 97 m5 pcm) in my car. First I got these codes:0740 torque converter clutch circuit malfunc
    0785 shift/timing solenoid malfunc.
    1860 converter solenoid circuit
    Then I realized my computer was a a4 instead of a m5. I really was surprised it started up with the a4 computer. So my question is , I just need to go to the dealer with a m5 vin number for a 97 camaro and they should be able to flash it.

    ya, just have the dealer flash it with a 97 M5 VIN.
