a friend of mine used to have a maro and had the same upgrades I do now except he had his what he called "flash" tuned instead of chipping. what is the difference. So far I have only found a way to get a custom chip because of the year of mine. only places I found do 98 and above, I have a 97. Can I do this flash tuning?

You want DHP PowrTuner or HP Tuners. They've all been discussed alot, especially in the Tuning forum.
