  • '00+ Plug N Play Injectors Found!

My full post, with where to buy, is on FTV6

    Cliff notes:
First off, the 19 vs 22 lb ratings for stock injectors is solved. Some spec sheets measure at 43.5 psi, at which they flow 19 lb/hr. Others (inc. Delphi) measure at 50 psi (our fuel pressure), where we flow 22 lb. That's all there is to it.

    To the meat of things:
I found a source for higher flow Multec II long injectors. While they're not super high (they top out at 27 lb/hr @ 50 psi), they should be great for heads/cam people or mild power adders where you're maxing out the stockers and need some head room. Since they're Multec II longs, they match our injectors both physically (no fuel rail mods) and electrically (no harness mods).

    Enjoy!

    NICE!!!!!!!!!
I gotta go read your link.

a 98 LS1 comes with 28# injectors and i think 99 or 2000+ come with 25# injectors. Granted that is most likely measured at the lower PSI but still, those babies have 340 HP stock.

27 poound is most likely enough for me to upgrade to 9psi pulley.

ok, gotta go read that sucker.

Wow, much more affordable than I would have guessed.

Give us a heads up when you install them and let us know how everyting goes.

I ordered HPtuners a couple of days ago. these injectors could realy turn the corner for me upgradeing to 9psi..and a lot of other people with N2O and turbos.

      Again, nice job. thanks

um fwiw most gtp guys run at 80-90% injector duty cycle with the stock pulley with 36lb injectors...you'd need larger then 27's...for an aftermarket heads/cam pkg or what have you 27's will last a good long while but for blown/turbo apps its different.

I had a feeling it would be to good to be true.

I think i would rather sell this car and get a v8 than spend all the money assosiated with converting the fuel rail as well as the fuel pump, pulley and not to mention the time tuning...throw in the cost of a wideband and forget it.
