How do I turn the SES light off?
1st try: just desconnect the battery's negative cable for 6 hours.
2nd try: turn key on (just let lights on) but dont start engine, then remove PCM fuses in the boxes under hood for 4 hours.

Both Technics were performed, but after the car run an while the SES light turned on again.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
From AutoZone Scanner:

The code is 138 on the scanner, Then he went to the computer and typed PO138:
"Voltage at o2 sensor on the closest one of the CAT is high......" Then he said that the sensor is the problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That means something's wrong with your car, that is causing the light to be set. Get it scanned, and post results.

A light always comes on for a reason, and if not fixed, there is not reason to think it will not come back on.

o2 sensor already replaced. Do you mean the one after the CAT?

Theres really no way to tell what the problem is O2 sensor or not without having it properly scanned. Goto local parts store autozone or checker auto and they can probly put it on a hand held scanner for you. After they scan it let us know the code that pulls up and we can go from there.

Yes O2 sensors are a very common cause of the SES light coming on but i would still advise to get properly scanned to be for sure so he dont waste money and time replacing them if thats not the problem.

An OBDII system has so many possible codes. There is no need to even try to guess. Get it scanned and be all done with it. Tell us what it was and what ever you do.. DO NOT LISTEN TO ANYTHING THAT THE GUY AT AUTOZONE TELLS YOU.. in fact I sugest pluging your ears and singing a song in your head while he talkes

Remember to get the actually number, not just the parts guy's desciption of "what's wrong".

COULD be the sensor, but it is there to monitor your catalytic converter. It very well could be your cat getting clogged or falling apart. If you want the light off, you have options. Get an O2 simulator, and do whatever you want to the cat (gut it or put pipe in its place). OR, replace the sensor and/or cat.

P0138 Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) circuit high voltage Bank 1 Sensor 2

could be several things. since your front 02 is not reading high I would tend to belive that your sensor is bad. It could also be cat as said but that will tend to usualy be a slow to switch code or catylyst effeicency code.

you can have a back pressure test run to figure out if you have a restriction from the cat. most muffler shops do this. It;s failry cheep... cheeper then replacing a cat when you do not need to

This problem happen in two different setups:

1 - o2 sensor + CAT (OEM)
2 - o2 sensor simulator from RKsport + no CAT (new)

I did light-reset(evening) in both setups. Guess what? light turn on.

* Next day went to work, pushing all (speed, red-line, reversing speed, etc, etc) no light I thoght, problem solved.
* Some day evening back to home, pushing all again, then guess what? that @#%$*%$^%#@^!^&$^% turn on before 2 miles of home.

sorry guys if I persist in that same point, but it is driving me nuts.

I appreciate any sujestion, thanks!
