wow, you have all the mods that i want, well i'm doing 3:42's with lsd for now, and alum driveshaft. i am nervous about putting the engine back together, but if the shop can doo all the bottom end, than i am ok. you said the idle is nasty, like cool? and how much is the fuel pressure regulator? also, if possible i would like to call you dakota, and maybe we'll talk pricing on ur motor, or maybe i can hear ur car idle. my name is eric, and if you want to email me at eze0430@yahoo.com, i would like to get in contact with you possibly on the phone on more about this cam. thanks, p.s. have have stock iron heads, but they are ported or just stock unported, that part confused me!

lol my bad on that i should have been more clear i have stock unported on the car but i have a set of ported irons sittin in my garage and i have unported aluminum sittin there as well. Feel free to call me any time it will be long distance but i would be more than happy to let you hear the car and speak with me about it.. fuel pressure regulator i dont remember what new is exactly i got it used for 50.. i think they are like a 100-150 tops idle being nasty means cool very cool. It sounds more dangerous than my friends LS1 trans am we just built... although its not even close. Going to e-mail hope that cleared it up a lil,
      Dakota

hey wolf, is .75mm over equal to .020, or what? Also, how much should i bore, what about .030. are there reasons for only .020. sorry, i'm rather inexperienced in this area.

and that part number is the exact same pistons you have? are u running stock rods? so basically, if i purchase these pistons speed pro part # h684cp.75, i will have to port .030 which =.75. also, will higher compression and these bigger pistons give me more horsepower, or just make my engine run better because of the higher lift i have on the cam?

yup exact same pistons I have,on stock rods, and the pistons have seen a 100 shot with no harm done
and a higher compression dose incress hp( 1 point of cr is usally +4% HP) and a bigger bore allows the head to breath better, also resulting in a small gain, plus these pistons have teflon coated skirts thats greatly reduce internal friction and also have thin rings that further reduce friction- that will incressce the power and effecency of the motor

              yes,I like run-on sentances :D nor can I spell

as for the cam, a high compression "tames" a big cam... thus that cam with the stock cr would have a very unstable idle(if it'd even idle)and would not have enuff vacum to operate your power brakes, the higer cr would rectafiy those problems
