• Problem Finding this part for 3.4L

I’m not sure part this is... and it is really becoming a headache. All I know is that it comes of the manifold and does something with the throttle-body. If someone could help me out with a part number for my 1995 3.4L camaro I will paypal them a few bucks.
What is this part???

While you're being helpful, on the back of the stock air inlet tube between the airbox and the the throttle body is a small hose bib with a rubber hose going down to some fitting on the left front of the engine.

What would that puppy be?

Have a picture and I could probably tell you. My guess would be a Flexible Adapter Pipe.

That would be the intake for the AIR pump.

I thought so. When I installed my CAI I removed it from the CAI tube & installed a small PCV breather/filter in the hose end to let it continue to function.

When I rode a Triumph America, it had air injection for pollution abatement. The exhaust popped and farted when throttled off, especially noticable when I did a conversion. As soon as I removed the air injection, the popping & farting were gone. So - can the hose be blocked off to disable the AIR system, and will it get rid of the popping and farting in my 3.4? Anybody tried this? Any negative effects?

If emissions testing are not a concern in your area I would just disconnect the electrical connection to the pump, or go ahead and remove the pump and plumbing all together.

Yes I have heard it is the cause of the off-throttle popping and disabling/removing it takes that away. Unfortunately I have emissions inspections in my county or I would have mine off as well.
