car is not idling right, kinda rough, ive replace every thing, plugs, plug wires, air and fuel filter, injectors, coil packs, pcv valve. Its a 3.8, 1999 model, it idles at about 625 rpm, does that sound right. When i plug my scanner into it, the only thing that shows up is evaporative system monitor, i do not have any check or service engine lights on. Could that be it, and where is it located, i traced all my vacuum lines under the hood and they all look good......Also whats the correct setting for this screw one the front drives side of the throttle body, such as if i screw it all the way in, how many full turns out should it be set at. I took off the throttle body and cleaned it the other day, turned screw half a turn and it pooped out. so i jest put it back in.

Was your car idling rough before you took off and cleaned the throttle body? Is it an auto or manual?

yes, the reason i took it off and cleaned, was because it was getting stuck closed and would not start, it took me forever to find this problem...... and its an auto

I just recently fixed (hopefully) a rough idle that actually resulted in my auto stalling while decellerating, at slow speeds in mid-turn, or sitting at idle. I replaced a load of crap and it seems to be fixed. Here's my thread.

        Hope it helps. GOod luck.
