so i found out that my '98's #3 intake valve isn't sealing. the dealer i bought the car from is paying for it. how much more would it cost to replace all the valves, vs replacing just one valve? would it take that much more time to replace all of them?

i'm not too keen around the internals of an engine, but let me get this straight. the cylinder heads are under the intake manifold or valve covers?. there's two cylinder heads, with 6 valves (1 exhaust, 1 intake. 6 cyl.). once one head is removed there is complete access to the all 6 valves.
are the valves themselves difficult to remove from there?

You have to remove the cylinder head to replace the valves. It's quite a bit of work, and usually costs about $1000 to have a mechanic do head work like that.Matt
