RWHP, not too much. It will obviously let the engine breath better, but it's not a huge gain.

you'd see a good gain if you'd port the lower intake(one of the big restrictions on the 3.4) when you put the 1.6s on

I've been working on adapting some easy to to get 1.6 roller rockers for the 3.4,i've got them to fit with some clearance grinding.......but I need to run them on a spare motor to see if they work safly,I don't want anyone messin' up there motor from one of my zany ideas

maybe off topic here, but wolf or anyone, in my rebuild, will i run into problems with running the 1.6 roller rockers? will i need to grind them away a bit, or what? Also, someone said to double up on the valve cover gaskets, and it'll solve the problem. Whats the deal?

I didn't have to double the gaskets when I had the comp. 1.6 roller tips, but I did use the good rubber gaskets insted of the cork ones

on some 1.6 rockers the pushrod may hit the bottom of the pushrod guides,if that happens the guides need some clearancing

I have had both the Comp 1.6 roller tipped rockers and the Crane Full roller sets. Neither offered any problems at any time.

Good post. I also have a question, how much lift can stock 3.4 springs take. I would like to do rockers in the future, and want to know if I am going to run into problems with my cam with the addition of rockers. Thanks, ;)
