    Well, i know my oil pressure is shot to crap. so im gonna need to change the bearings. Not the cam bearings either... the main ones. now... the question i have is... where are these things located?

    By main do you mean the bearings the crank rides on? If so, that is a pretty major project as you would need to remove the crankshaft, I believe. That would involve removing the bearing caps and the connecting rods from the crank. I am not sure on the exact process, but it's quite involved.

        Did the car nock or shake at idle at all?

        Don't run the car at ALL with low oil pressure unless you want to completely replace it.

          you know it is not good to run the jet stage 2 with nitrous unless you get a msd to retard the timeing

            yea i heard about that with the stage 2. cuz it leans out the mixture and so on. ill just say screw it and put on bigger injectors.

            and yes it shakes enuf to rattle **** in the car and my driver side mirror.. this is only at idle.

              I'm a little unclear on what you are asking.. if it's where are the crank bearings.. well not to be a smartass but they are under the main bearing caps.. take the caps off, pull the lower bearing half off, pull the crank off (preferably with the rods disconnected from the crank) and pull out the second half.. man i don't mean to be rude but if you are going to do this, and you don't know where they are you might want to rethink doing this or get some good manuals and do alot of reading.. this isn't like changing a wheel bearing or something..

                i had a good idea where they were, just making sure. I can do this kind of a job. ive taken my engine entirely apart to replace my headgaskets and put my cam in. I think jacking up the engine and removing the bolts for the mounts and removing the oilpan will not be as difficult. For what i know i must remove the oil pan and remove the crank. the main bearings (i think) are the ones in the front and back of the crankshaft. and while im at it... might as well put in a high volume oil pump. Im just making sure that these are the bearings.
