if yo go nitrous go with a higher compression but if you go turbo or super keep stock compression

Just order a jegs catalog and look for the piston manufacturers there. don't get pistons with less than 1 inch of compression height because of issues with ring clearance. shorter rods may be needed for less compression as well as dished pistons. I'd say go as high as 8.75:1 compression ratio while using forced induction as well as nitrous because you won't use nitrous all the time and it is low enough for some ok boost levels as well as high enough for nitrous to like it. As and added saftey measure, get water and/or alcohol injection for your foced induction system. The water/alcohol acts like a intercooler for the hot air before it gets to an air or water intercooler and the alcohol is nice for more hp on top of the increased boost levels, spark timing advance, cam advance, compresion level, or a closer air/fuel mixture to stoich(14.7:1).

Get some great tires (kuhmo seems to be very good for the price)
Really, you should do a search around. Read around the board for a week & you will have a great idea of what you can do (especially look around forced induction & look for the procharger kit, etc.)

once again....you guys have no clue how overkill titanium rods are!!!! they are NOT NOT NOT NOT needed!! a good set of 4340 forged steel rods will be just fine!!
Titaniun is not needed, but is very cool! You can get some that are just as strong as 4340 forged, but weight less. This means less power lost due to mechanical pumping losses due to internal parts inertia. very expensive, but worth the money for the coll stuff you get from them, and they also last a real long time unless seriously abused.
