we have a bore of 3.8 in. I suggest boring out to 3.82-3.83 if you want to bore your block out eventually.

umm i have heard from alot of people and places .020 is the max over bore we would want to go to be safe so no 3.83 and boring is kinda pointless unless you got like a million to spend (no it dosnt cost that much but there isnt gonna be barly any gain not worth the money really) but then if you had a million you wouldnt have a v6
looking into stroking $3000 custum crank with some custom rods that should tie up alot of your money i bet

Stick with stock cubes, just get forged pistons and run lots of nitrous.
Or just get higher compression pistons.
No matter what you do, you'll need to know how to tune.Keith - Chicago
HP Tuners - PCM Reprogramming
97 Firebird V6 to LS1 swap
V8 9.967@132.78 1.322 60\' NA Heads/Cam
V8 10.295@128.48 1.363 60\' NA Cam Only
V8 10.987@119.31 1.422 60\' NA Stock Internals
V6 13.674@98.22 NA
V6 12.394@104.91 N20 100HP

I know I'm new, but does this belong in Advanced Tech? I seems like he is asking very general questions.
$.023.8, 4-speed auto, 3.73 posi, custom functional ram air, Flowmaster single chamber, custom bent exhaust, wings west ground f/x, custom glow in the dark paint job w/ racing stripes etc.....
Soon: new racing motor(still a V6), and dual stage NX.
