I was working on the engine swap today and noticed several alarming things. The obd2 computer the motor came with has 2 plugs that go into the harness on the car. Now one plug matches but has different pin locations. The second plug on the obd2 computer i can't find anywhere within the old harness or engine compartment. Any ideas? These two plugs are close together on the main harness. Also, The three plugs on the passenger side behind the kick panel are the same style but different pins once again. Finally, my automatic shifter has a plug with a bunch of sniped wires on it. What am i supposed to do with these? Any input or help would be great!

unless you want to fab up your own wiring harness somehow, by splicing up stuff. You're probably you need to pick up these connectors and such from online place like hpsalvage.com. mostly lt1 swaps don't have this prob because they are buying a new wiring harness and guage cluster. I got the obd2 computer and engine wiring harness but i went to gm today and the harness is different from the computer to inside the car. From gm that harness cost $960 bucks! Rediculous. But if i found that one would it work with the plug that goes in the car or would i need that entire harness too? I don't know what to do.Hot Cammed LT1 SleeperComment
