  • Injector Pulse Issue

Hey, I have tried to get an answer before about my problem, but I keep getting the run around. My problem is that the injector pulses of the number 1 and 3 cylinders is weaker than the others. I hooked up nodes to the wires and I can see a weaker light. I have changed the injectors, and even the whole engine(lol) but it still happens. Someone told me that it is because the ECU has developed a bad ground internally and I am in need of a new computer. I find it odd because the weak injector pulses are right next to each other on the same bank. Has anyone else had this problem? or have an idea of why this is happening. I really do not want to buy another ECU, but will if I am forced to. This is the only thing in my way of fully hooking up my turbo. I dont want to unleash it on a lean running engine. I have MAFT, and I richened it as much as I can, I see better results, but still feel hesitation at part throttle. I dont want to rely on the MAFT because I have been getting horrible gas mileage in turn for a better running engine. Someone please help me.

What size injectors are you using. If they are stock i would use 24lbs injectors

They are stock injectors, but I feel the problem has to do nothing with the injectors. It is the actual wires(which are fine)that I hooked the node up to.

Since you know that you have a lower voltage on the injectors I assume you have a meter of some sorts.

First, check the resistance of the injectors wire all the way to the PCM. You shouldn't see more than, I don't know 20ohms. That may not be exact, but it shouldn't be much.
