• engine ????????

I have a 98 3.8 and i was thinking about a cam install. I am on a tight budget will getting the cam that works with stock heads (210/214 .45/.45 112) do any good or will it be better to do heads and cam etc. also what kind of gas mileage do you get when you start adding cams, ported heads etc. the car is a daily driver and needs to run good.

my biggest problem is that the engine has a little over a hundred thousand miles. will a cam put excessive strain on the motor. when installing a cam is the engine apart that much that you should just rebuild it?

did anyone ever create a cam install guide

You don't want a reground cam, you want a COMP cam. Which of course you can also get through Tom@SSM.

those specs were from a regrind.
