My car has about 136K miles on it and I think a rebuild is in the near future, and I wanna make sure to get some performance parts when it gets done. But, since I don't know jack about what to do, can someone please tell me what is the process of rebuilding an engine. What parts need changing? Any help will be very much appreciated. Thanks for putting up with dummies like me.

94 Camaro AT 3.4L<br />Still working on something worth posting.
I recently rebuilt my 3.4 with new gaskets, and basically cleaned everything and fixed everything. This is including the leaks, blown headgasket, and etc. The parts alone will kill ya. But if you doing a rebuild make sure u torque down the stuff correctly or your screwed. If your doing the block... good luck. Its some hard hard hard work. I rebuilt my upper engine, (heads, intake manifold, etc etc.) If you rebuild you might as well put in a new cam. Just research how big of a problem you are trying to start. Its very time consuming and if you dont have patitence... you better turn away now.
do a search for 3.4 rebuild there is alot of stuff that has been discussed it is def. time consuming if you ain't got no damn money
