HP gain with just SSM cam?

If i just got a cam like SSM's wut HP gain would i get? If i run 14.9 n/a now what would i run with just a cam? Thanks

I picked up 25hp at the wheels with the SSM cam, ported intake/TB, and tuning from the MAFT+. I haven't been to the track yet with the new setup but I'm going in a few weeks so I'll let you know my 1/4 mile gains.

Ok say i dont have the MAFT+ and the ported intake/TB what gains would i see?

i think you will see gains. i'm still debating on forced induction or motor work. i live 2 hours from tom@ SSM. i might give him my car and 4500$ and tell him to make me a beast... if i remember correctly keith didn't see any gains with the p@p intakes and tb. i could be wrong. i think now that he has a cam in there there are benifts with the porting due to more airflow...

That is an excellent question... How much does it cost for replacing a Cam on average, and will they have to tear down the engine?

to instal a cam is around $500. to get the whole power pack put in was $800. but then i also had more work so it totaled $975. but then dont forget the gaskets and a new timing chain

Gaskets are $150 or so. It adds up.

So for the Cam, Heads, Gaskets and work to install all the components, approximately what is a $$$$ amount? Approx. how much HP is the gain for this $$$ amount?

Also, after these components are installed, does the car have to be dyno tested to ensure enought fuel pressure is flowing and the engine properly tuned?
