The powerpack can be worth ~50rwhp.. don't underestimate it. If you're at 200rwhp expect 250rwhp, if your at 160 expect 210, etc. etc.
I have the complete powerpack on my car and did pretty well NA.

i have the complete power pack on my car and have done pretty shltty. and only god knows why.
SSM is a great business. and his work is top notch. as well as his customer service. but if you are like me and not a mechanic, all i have to say is you better know a mechanic. with mods come probs. the last time my power pack was taken to the track it ran a 16.5 at 79 mph. woohooo

Nino, I hate to bring it up, and I do so respectfully, but haven't you had problems from the install forward. Not to say that the install was the problem. I seem to remember you having problems with smoke, etc. Is there a possibility that the install could've gone wrong, or that you received faulty parts. Again, I'm being respectful, but I don't ever remember your supersix package being right, even when you ran those good times last year.1998 Firebird 3800 Series II, A4
Direct-Flo Lid,K&N Filter,DEE TB Spacer,TPS-TEC,ZZP Mini-AFC,Raised and Cutout Airbox 7mm,BMR STB & Boxed LCAs,KYB AGX Shocks,Drilled/Slotted Rotors,180* Thermo,2.5\" Catco Cat,Dynomax 2.75\" custom catback,Kumho Ecstas/245,Jet Stage 2,3.42,Edge Racing 2870 Stall,B&M Tranny Cooler,B&M Deep Tranny Pan,LSD,AAM Girdle,1LE DS,NX Wet Kit,MSD DIS-4,MSD Blaster Coil Packs,Taylor Spiro Pro 8mm Wires,NGK TR6\'S gapped .045,ZZP UD WP Pulley,SLP Fan Switch,TT II\'s
N/A: 15.6342 @ 88.44 (On stock converter. Oh another ? While doing the search I couldnt find any hard numbers. For the 2 grand I might be spending, Id really like to know what type of realistic performance gain I can hope to acheive in terms of quarter mile. The SSm site says any where from 13.8 to 14.8. Yea right thats a 1-2 second better time over stock. Maybe Im wrong but those type of numbers at 2 grand would render the powerdyne a bad investment if one had to choose. So whats the real time reduction from someone whos been there and done that?Powerdyne 98 a4 convert

stock 16.6 @ 86

6 lbs boost 15.1 @ 90

04 A4 2.73 geared white Corvette Coupe

stock- 13.5 @ 103

LS6 conversion-13.1 @ 107
http://members.cardomain.com/greenglow98 ( pics of intercooled powerdyne)

green, i am not dissing the power pack or SSM. i am just saying life is a lot easier when you know what the hell you are doing. take magnus and me for example, magnus knows a crapload about auto mechanics and hows and whys of auto mechanics, i dont know jack shlt about auto mechanics. his car is awesome, my car sucks. see the pattern. ask magnus who installed his power pack and i will give you the number to the shop that did mine. ask magnus who does his repairs, and i will give you the number to the shop who does mine. do you see what i am getting at?
i say get the power pack. i have total faith in it. i back SSM 100%.
you want numbers? magnus got his car into the 13s, i got mine to 14.45 from a 14.8, royce (the very first owner of a power pack) didnt even see 14s till he added more mods to the power pack.
yes, royce will prolly say that his instalation went agoof and he had problems to. i dont know what my problems came from. i will say it was not from SSM. more likely improper installation or damage during shipping, or just my ignorance.
and minor, yes, i have had nothing but problems since the power pack was installed-why- only god knows. now i wish i had just done a swap.
for the record i say get the power pack.
edit: i just wanted to say best of luck. i know the excitement of wanting the power pack then ordering it and then driving around town with it. ;)

Yea I see what your saying, its not somthing minor like a exhaust. If problems occur they are very expensive and only a real mechanic could figger that stuff out.Man this is somthing I got to study and think about for a while.Im just in a big rush cuz Im gettin ready to get a 3-4 grand tax return and i want to shut some peoples mouths at the track.Well thanks for your input cuz your just telling me how it is...Powerdyne 98 a4 convert

stock 16.6 @ 86

6 lbs boost 15.1 @ 90

04 A4 2.73 geared white Corvette Coupe

stock- 13.5 @ 103

LS6 conversion-13.1 @ 107
http://members.cardomain.com/greenglow98 ( pics of intercooled powerdyne)

Say nino, wasn't Royce problem due to the cam and the lack of computer reprogramming?

green, did you see this?
http://www.camarov6.com/cgi-bin/ulti...&f=16&t=000355
i had smoke from day 1. one year later i actually find out that i had a broken valve guide. (not a cheap fix) my problems could all be from shotty installation. but now i have fixed the valve guide and found myself in another shlthole. just my luck i guess. just imagine, have you seen my mod list and seen that my last run was a 16.5 @ 79 mph?
and for toast, i am sorry. i was on vacation for 3 weeks and no internet allowed on vacation :D but my cam specs are 220/224 114 l/s with a lift of .47. and for sound clips i will need to find someone with a better computer than mine. i will get them to you though.6s.......under the hood or under the belt, they just dont cut it.
