I would go with their head and manifold package, take them to a local speed shop and make sure they are ported as much as possible then call com-cams for a custom grind. I like this one
210* intake 210* exhaust with 512* lift. I'm gonna add that to the mods I already got and a Compucar nitrous kit, that is gonna be some serious power. I am gonna get forged pistons, arp bolts, and rol gaskets to help strengthen the motor up. 97 Camaro RS

\"Just a V6 huh?, let\'s go find out how slow it is\"

You're exactly right. I am grateful they have this option for our cars. But its not the price, it's that most of this is new to me, and like nino said you should have some knowledge into this. I still have a lot to learn and look up...but a mild cam for a n/a car would be good for me-not until I get the necessities for my car. THankfully i have a backup car and a dad and brother who know a lot about cars and who are jjust as interested in learning what this 3.8 beast can do.
Or Maybe I should just save up for a V8....But it would be cool to beat someone (or have low times) and then tell them, "Its just 6"

yea what you said just reminded me of a kill story I just read. The guy didnt beleaqve it was a v6 and paid the maro 20 $ to open his hood and prove it was a six. That was funny... Any ways I jusy got the powerdyne but I will still get a cam within the next 4 months. The more I listen to Nino the scarder I get. Will I be a man and go with a agressive powerpack or will I except safer but less HP from a mild cam??? Still undetermined.Probaly have to talk to Ironman about that cuz I beleave he has a 98 with blower and cam.......Powerdyne 98 a4 convert

stock 16.6 @ 86

6 lbs boost 15.1 @ 90

04 A4 2.73 geared white Corvette Coupe

stock- 13.5 @ 103

LS6 conversion-13.1 @ 107
http://members.cardomain.com/greenglow98 ( pics of intercooled powerdyne)

there is no need to second guess SSMs work.
his work is immaculate i have said it before and i will say it again- when my power pack was installed the mechanic called his friends to his shop to take a look at my head work. because it was that good. then later my mechanic asked me where i had it done cause he had never seen that kind of work done so well.
then my second mechanic even told me that he to was impressed with the work.6s.......under the hood or under the belt, they just dont cut it.

I've been thinking about getting the powerpack for awhile now. And the only real question I have is, will it pass California Smog? I know it doesn't have CARB numbers, to technicaly it isn't CA smog legal, but will a 3.8 with it installed pass a smog check?1999 red 38000 Camaro
Leaking rear main seal (not really a mod though)

I talked to Tom about that awhile ago, via e-mail. He said that the tail pipe seems to clean as stock. So it should be ok, but ask him before buying it.
