i dunno if this is advanced probably not but people come into advanced to ask these questions. everyone that wants to know about porting and polishing their throttle body and intake. you gotta realize that almost these exact same pieces have to flow enough air for the supercharged grand prix. so i think they flow good enough already for our naturally aspirated cars. these aren't the first pieces the grand prix guys upgrade either so we shouldn't have to worry about them till big power from superchargers and such. open for discussion if anyone disagrees, but i don't think people should waste time and money on this.

This mod is not needed until you really get involved with modifications
I'm not a fan of modifying the TB due to various tuning issues.
As for the intake manifold, well, I am guessing that this is where my insane mpg comes from.
Did the intake porting help N/A performance, probably not, or if it did it is negligable.
As for fuel economy, that did increase.

if you have ur heads p&p'd, a cam, and all the little bolt-on's, then u should do p&p intakes. tb supposedly helps higher rpm's on any car, so that'd be cool. look at intense racing or zzperformance for the tb's. dominic and I discussed if it'd make a diff or not on our cars, and we decided it will, but only at higher rpms.2001 Arctic White Firebird<br />More mods than I\'m allowed to list!
